The ReStore wants to help with your spring projects!

The winter that just wouldn’t quit seems to be finally loosening its grip on Stark County, and with the warmer weather comes more motivation to clean, organize, spruce up and build around the house.
If you’re looking to get a jump on your spring cleaning and projects, the ReStore provides a locally-based, community-minded and environmentally friendly alternative to traditional stores.
Looking to clear out some unneeded but still usable furniture (or appliances, building materials or household items)? Contact the ReStore, instead of hauling them to the curb. The store even offers free pick up for larger items, or donations can be dropped off at the store during business hours. Individuals as well as businesses are welcome to donate, and all donations are tax-deductible.
Hoping to create a new look without breaking the bank? Check out the ReStore’s ever-changing inventory. Items donated to the store are sold for more than 50% off retail prices, and the store is completely open the public.
Whether you shop at or donate to the ReStore, you are helping keep usable items out of landfills. All proceeds from the ReStore are used to help Habitat for Humanity of Greater Stark and Carroll Counties build and renovate homes with local families in need of decent, affordable housing.
Also, come celebrate Earth Day at the store on Tuesday, April 22. The store will offer several promotions, including:
  • A free Habitat t-shirt to the first 30 donors who drop off items at the store that day
  • 25% off merchandise throughout the store (some exclusions apply)
  • Discount coupons will be given to each shopper, good for 25% off one item on your next shopping trip

We hope to see you soon!

Donate your vehicle to the ReStore!

Did you know your car can help Stark County families in need have a decent home? That’s right – in addition to accepting donations of new and used furniture, building materials, appliances and household items, the ReStore also takes donated cars. And trucks. And vans. And boats, motorcycles and RV’s!

Here’s how it works: You call the ReStore and let us know you have a vehicle you no longer need that you’d like to donate. You can either bring it to the store, or we can arrange a pick up. Your donated vehicle will be sold at the ReStore or recycled as scrap metal. The proceeds from that vehicle will then be used to help Habitat for Humanity of Greater Stark and Carroll Counties build and renovate homes with qualifying local families in need of a decent, affordable place to live.

Even if your vehicle isn’t running, give us a call! We can arrange for it to be towed. By donating your vehicle to the Habitat ReStore, you can receive a tax-deduction and avoid the hassle of trying to sell or get rid of it yourself. And you’ll be helping Habitat for Humanity at the same time!

Give us a call today to learn more or to schedule your donation.
