Deconstruction

Deconstruction is the careful removal of building materials from homes, to be salvaged for reuse.

The ReStore offers deconstruction as a *free service, and all items salvaged are tax deductible. We are able to salvage items such as cabinets, doors, windows, plumbing fixtures, lighting, and architectural items from houses slated for demolition and remodeling.

Salvaged items are sold to the public at the ReStore and the proceeds will be used to build homes with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Stark and Carroll Counties.

Using the ReStore Deconstruction team saves you time and money.

•    Diminish dumpster costs by letting us remove and haul away used items.
•    Receive a tax-deduction for donated items.
•    Help the environment by allowing usable items to be sold at the ReStore rather than sending them to a landfill.

Our Deconstruction team is fully insured and takes great pride and care in their work and on the homes they are working on.
